Zimbabwe’s government is considering utilizing Bitcoin (BTC) as a legal payments option to meet the growing demand and harness the technology, according to local news.

The United States House of Representatives passed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill which, if signed into law by President Joe Biden, would enforce new provisions in relation to crypto-tax reporting for all citizens, requiring all digital asset transactions worth more than $10,000 to be reported to the IRS.

According to a study by Blockdata, 32 out of the world's 100 largest companies have a positive attitude towards cryptocurrencies, 61 companies are neutral, and 7 companies spoke about digital assets in a negative way.

32 companies that responded positively met one or more of the following criteria:
- The company accepts cryptocurrencies as a payment method.
- Offers cryptocurrency related products or services.
- Hires specialists to create products or services related to cryptocurrencies.
- Executives have commented positively on cryptocurrencies over the past 2 years.
